Jonesboro is found in the northeast part of the state is the county seat of Craighead County and home to Arkansas State. Is is accompanied by 100 placards showing the furniture on offer. Each card measures 7 5/8 by 9 1/2 inches and bears a photographic illustration of the piece along with a printed description stock number and dimensions As follows: 1111/20150 Adam Satinwood Writing Desk hand-decorated leather top. MADE IN ENGLAND. H. 38". W. 42". D. 23". Very good condition.The company seems to have specilaized in high end reproductions of antique furniture. The card lists the comparative quantities of champagnes brought into the United States by various importers. Of a total of 214 732 cases of the bubbles G.H. Mumm & Co. tops the list at 69 308 cases. A small trade catalogue promoting barrel trucks wheeled racks which hold barrels and allow them to be moved around a warehouse or shop. Illustrated with two full-page images interior scenes of a “wholesale liquor store†and of a “retail grocery†each showing the barrel trucks in use. The broadside folded inside is a list of first-year purchasers of the “1665 Barrel Truck†and is torn at the edges. The handbill itself is fine clean and bright. Unrecorded. Bungay solicits merchants and manufacturers for business profiles which he has engaged to publish in the Waverley Magazine "a well-known and widely circulated journal printed weekly." which has an immense circulation in New York New England every State in the Confederacy and the British Provinces. The author promises truthful and graphic sketches of the businesses profiled which will be read by a wide audience and be of benefit to their enterprises as a "novel mode of advertising." for the cost of $10 and travel expenses. He lists several businesses he has already profiled approximately 20 many in the Boston area. Interested parties should contact Bungay at his Dental Room 165 Court St. Boston. Derby & Co. assures the public that the November 15 fire which lately damaged their place of business and destroyed a large portion of their stock will not stop them from filling orders for books stationery and other articles. They have purchased the entire stock of Messrs. Bradley & Anthony who have decided to retire and will move into their store at No. 113 Main Street immediately.
