This is a report on the 1862 Great Exhibition in London by delegates/ authors as named of the Saint Etienne Chamber of Commerce where the 'Manufacture Imperielle' was based. I have identified one 2014 reprint of an 1877 84 pp. edition ascribed to a Eugene Ory as author but this name does not appear here unsurprisingly since his birth-date is given as 1845 nor is there mention of the unfolding chart. Clearly extremely scarce. Structured in two parts: Part I with instructions on how to signal including how to make alphabetical spelling signals and numeral signals and Part II on distant signals including the fixed semaphore for coast use.
