1859579125Boston: Oliver Ditson & Co 1859. Softcover. Good. First edition. Front cover lithograph by Gillingham. Folio. Single bifolium with a single sheet insert making six pages. Bifolium separated at the fold. Large dampstain to the top of the front cover affecting throughout foxing throughout and edgewear a complete but good only copy. For voice and piano. Plate number 3253 and on the front cover a six pointed star with a 3 in the center. This piece is a bit of an enigma as we cannot confirm the true identity of the composer nor that of the mysteriously named Thatch Cottage Bard. Unrecorded by OCLC and thus the plot thickens.
