IV, f. 1° edite nel "Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum" edito da G.-B. de Rossi assieme a W. Henzen e T. Mommsen. L'archeologo ed epigrafista de Rossi (1822-1894), scopritore delle Catacombe di San Callisto, fondò il Museo cristiano lateranense, oggi parte dei Musei Vaticani. Questo cippo (v. "Indicazione antiquaria del pontificio Museo pio- clementino in Vaticano", di P. Massi, 1792) era collocato nella Stanza delle Muse e faceva da piedistallo ad una Statua di Urania, musa dell'Astronomia, proveniente da Villa Adriana.
