198011580n. p. but Cleveland: Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association 1980. Staplebound. Very good . Quarto unpaginated 9pp. including content printed on front and rear wrappers. Covers age-toned else a clean un-used example of this coloring book very good or better. The images portray the friendly face of the police officer for young children. Notably while there is an illustration depicing a female police officer all children and adults appear to be white. Most of the text consists of basic safety rules such as "Don't chase the ball into the street.let it roll" and "Dont accept gifts from strangers." Produced by Cleveland's non-supervisory police union this book was clearly designed to instill a friendly image of the police force among children. The city of Cleveland's racial demographics changed faster than those of its mostly white police force and the racial tensions have ebbed and flowed ever since the 1966 shootout in Glenville. This volume not separately listed in OCLC. Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association unknown
