Vertot a Jesuit historian contributed to eighteenth-century historical writing on European and ecclesiastical subjects and this work reflects contemporary interest in crusader history. Very Good. Full leather bindings tight and secure with sound hinges; corners show notable rubbing and wear; text pages generally clean with no major loss. 8vo seven volumes.
