Collection of detailed reports on the Jewish persuctions as of late 1941 throughout Europe, and organized by region, with anecdotal as well as statistical evidence and sources cited. The report came out just 2 months before the notorious Wansee Conference where German extermination policy became official, and the reports here, in detail and in in broad brush stroakes, reflect the quickly deteriorating situation for Jews under German occupation. For example from the Polish section: We must declare at the very outset that words are powerless to portray the agony and suffering of Polish Jewry in the 80 days of Germany role. The hell-like reality of the Polish Jews, a hell-like reality which has already lasted more than 80o days, and where literally every minute, every second demands Jewish victims, without a stop, without any interruption, and the hand of the torturer and murderer, the robber and offender is still unwearied, --this reality is not to he described in words. Let the reader multiply what is described tenfold, twentyfold, and he will perhaps come near to an idea of the life of our brothers under the German lash (p.
