In 8. Dim. 23x16 cm. Pp. 32+8 (n.n.).
Legatura in ottime condizioni. Interesting and scarce pamphlet of nazist propaganda about the Olympic games of 1936 held in Berlin from the 1 until the 16 of August 1936. The german government spent a lot of money for that occasion: they mounted huge screens for german people and the olympic stadium was realized with precious materials. The case of the black atlet Jesse Owens, winner of four golden metals was very discussed. It seems that Hitler, when Owens was declaired winner against the german atlet Luz Long Hitler went away from the stadium. Happening that the same Owens declaired it was not true. Inside there are eight photographic planches showing Hitler and the preparation to the Olympic games.
Ancient signature. Editorial cover in good general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in very good conditions. Inside pages are in fair conditions with occasional foxings btu an humidity stain in the upper edge.

"The objectives of MUR were to gather Ukrainian writers scattered by the Second World War, to organize the publication of their works, and to become a center, within a comprehensive national ideology, for creative dialogues among members representing various styles and literary aims. MUR played a positive role in that it managed to organize almost all of the noted emigre writers and provide them with a forum for discussion while it stimulated an interest in literature among the public at large."
