Copy belonging to special effects personnel Paul Stewart with his name on the title page and annotations throughout in holograph ink. Stewart is notable for having also worked on "Fat City" 1972 "The Exterminator" 1980 "Heaven's Gate 1980 "Predator" 1987 "Thelma and Louise" 1991 and "Planet of the Apes" 2001. <br/><br/>Two brothers vacation to a small Southern town only to find most of the inhabitants have turned into bloodthirsty zombies due to toxic waste. One of the brothers goes missing and it's up to the second brother a local sheriff and a sexy school teacher to find him or hunt him down. <br/><br/>Shot on location in Georgia. <br/><br/>Blue wrappers with paper title label. Title page present dated July 29 1983 noted as SHOOTING SCRIPT with credits for screenwriters Orton Jones and Kruize. 134 leaves with last page of text numbered 106. Manuscript annotations. ~ A very early Pennsylvania bill of fare for the Norristown Hotel with a list of items on offer including Breakfast Dinner Supper Lodging Wine Brandy Gin Spirits Punch Porter Beer Cider Segars Hay and Oats. Manuscript annotations indicate "Gentleman's Bill May 16th 1814" with handwritten prices added for dinner brandy porter hay and oats a man on the move!. The final lines indicate payment of $4.25 and the elaborate signature of hotel owner Morris Jones. "Morris Jones gives notice in July 1813 that he kept the "Norristown Hotel corner of Egypt or Main and De Kalb Streets" and that "a constant supply of newspapers will be kept for the use of the house." This is interesting for giving an early mention of "hotel" which it would appear was now about being introduced as more pretentious than inn or tavern. It was a two-story stone house forty by thirty-seven feet with an adjoining kitchen. The stable was also of stone fifty by twenty-seven feet with sheds and outbuildings. This property was built by General Isaiah Wells about 1800 and kept by him until his election as sheriff when he moved to the jail. It was long known as the most noted stage-house in Norristown. In 1834 the Norristown Hotel was then kept by Levi Roberts and was offered at public sale by the assignees of Isaiah Wells." To "Dear Bill" i.e. Willis Birchman and appropriately captioned next to his name in the letterhead: "Goes Nuts in 3/4 War Time." Birchman was one of Flagg's frequent correspondents as a consequence of Birchman having featured Flagg in his 1937 book FACES & FACTS BY AND ABOUT 26 CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS. A rather blunt letter much of it written in jingoistic jest and all in caps: "Have you ever thought of Chi-Chi-Renoir's enthralling stench for gay frolicking moments You have no idea of what it will do for you! But buy a war bond foist! Mail a bottle of Chi-Chi to your Nip Girl Friend - It will kill her! Suffer little Krauts to come unto me - Gen. McArthur's Batman ought to take those Greta Garbo specs off'n Doug when he's having his pitcha snapped. Howard Chandelier Twisty told some body to call me to do heads at Halloran - cant that old poopski mind his own wars! . Daily Telegraph of London wants me 1917 Brishday poster to hang in their N.Y. office - I gave the original to Lloyd George - so he died. .What do you think of my idea of killing myself and killing the screeching refugee next door first & A couple of cats! Not examined out of frame a few minor background smudges but very good. A stern self-portrait by the artist in 3/4 profile with characteristic tousled hair and expansive eye brows. Inscribed by Flagg likely in the 1930s to his friend Willis Birchman: "Bill -- This is what I seemed to look like in a glass about the age of 30 - Monty." Vintage lithograph promotional poster for the classic 1971 album playfully and conceptually utilizing the original album design by Andy Warhol. <br/><br/>A scarce item made on the London side of the Atlantic to promote the British release though presumably never released. Printed on an unusually thick textured stock and machine-folded as issued. <br/><br/>Rather than licking their wounds after Altamont the Rolling Stones recorded a follow-up that was the equal of "Let It Bleed" taking "Brown Sugar" from a drug-induced all-night session in Muscle Shoals "Sister Morphine" from the "Let It Bleed" sessions and 8 more blistering tracks recorded in their mobile unit during the summer of 1970. Andy Warhol famously designed the jeans-and-zipper cover which the boys make humorous use of here. Virtually every track today is a staple of rock radio including "Bitch" "Sway" "Wild Horses" "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" Dead Flowers" and "Moonlight Mile."<br/><br/>23 x 35 inches on heavy textured stock and machine folded as issued.
