Cloth spined oblong pictorial boards VG. unpaginated 134pp printed on the recto only 122 b/w illustrations from photographs edges of the boards rubbed with a little loss of colour internally fine. A collection of photographs taken during the Second World War of the Jugoslav Partisans as they fought German & Italian troops. The images are naturally propaganda and were published some 6 years after the War was over when Jugoslavia was a Communist state - the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Thus the images show only troops of the Narodno Oslobodilacka Vojska or NOV which was led by Josip Broz Tito. The Royalist Chetnicks are hardly given a mention.
