First edition of this scarce promotional dealer’s brochure/poster for the Durant Motors Star Four automobiles which was founded in 1921 by William Durant after he lost control of General Motors. During the 1920s Durant Motors built cars assembled from parts manufactured by other suppliers and the intent was to build a company that rivaled GM and Chevrolet. This catalogue describes and illustrates the Durant Four-Cylinder Touring Four-cylinder Roadster Sedan and Coupe intended to compete with Ford’s Model T.
