340 pages. Colour and black and white reproductions of photos. Rolls of Honour. "8th May 2001 marked the 60th anniversary of the formation of 407 "Demon" Squadron RCAF at Thorney Island, Hampshire, England. In WWII the Demons were credited with four U-boat kills and seven U-boats damaged, plus many thousands of tons of enemy shipping sunk and damaged, but at the cost of the lives of 240 members." paraphrased from Foreword. Part One deals with the wartime years, 1941-1945 and is divided into anti-shipping operations and anti-submarine operations. Part Two deals with the post-war years, 1952-2000 and includes these chapters: The Squadron Reformed, The Lancaster Years, The Neptune Years, The Argus Years, The Aurora Years, plus ten informative appendices. Signed and inscribed in 2005 by C.O. P. Ormsby upon title page. Usual library markings. Binding intact.. Above-average external wear. Autori: Roberto Bigini.
