Good copy. Numbered and signed by the artist. Wikipedia: "Stefan Wewerka (* 27. Oktober 1928 in Magdeburg; ? 14. September 2013 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Architekt, Designer und Künstler. Ab Ende der 1950er Jahre betätigte sich Wewerka zunehmend als freier Künstler. Es entstanden die Erdarchitekturen (erstmals ausgestellt in der Wiener Galerie Nächst St. Stephan von Otto Mauer und später in Köln im Atelier Mary Bauermeister), in den 1960er Jahren begann er mit den Zerschneidungen und Umbauten vor allem von Stühlen, aber auch anderen Alltagsobjekten wie Münzen, Besteck, Fahnen, Schallplatten usw. In den 1970er Jahren entstanden vor allem Radierungen (zahlreiche Mappenwerke und Einzelblätter), in die gleiche Zeit fiel auch die Freundschaft und Zusammenarbeit mit Dieter Roth.

Two volumes 'new edition revised and enlarged' no. 11 of 50 copies with various original pencil signatures of author and illustrators; with etchings in two states signed in pencil by artists and one frontispiece also signed by Austin Dobson. Frontispieces in Vol. I by William Strang both signed in two states; plus several etchings by Adolphe Lalauze also in two states the first of each of which is signed by Lalauze who also supplied the frontispiece which is signed for the second volume. Cloth-backed boards in rare original dust jackets books very good bindings a little soiled especially to edges and spine ends with some foxing to deckled fore edges contents fine with decorated endpapers text printed on thick cream japanese vellum paper some pages unopened uncut; dust jackets show slight soil and toning darkening to spines light wear to spine ends one volume with chip to spine and both dust jackets a good half inch shorter than the books — probably made that way one of the fashions of that early period in modern dust jacket production. A distinctly uncommon set in the limited signed edition with no recent copies at auction. Dobson was a modernist and a pioneer in adapting French verse forms -- the villanelle rondel rondeau ballade etc. -- for use in the English language. Dodd, Mead hardcover

First edition with the Lacroix notes also seems to include some tales from the Heptameron. 1872 4 volumes one of 500 copies on Hollande Van Gelder paper small 8vo 16.5 cm full cherry red morocco gilt with floral spine emblems 5 raised bands on spines with gilt borders and crowns surmounting the letter 'M' at all corners.
