Articolo dedicato alla Madonna di Santa Maria Nova da Urbe, Roma - Brossura editoriale di 10 pagine con una tavola a colori e 9 in nero fuori testo. Conserva inoltre al suo interno il numero 3-8, anno XXV, marzo-agosto 1950, della rivista "L'Oblato Benedettino" dedicata alla medesima opera. Una scritta a pennarello a margine del piatto anteriore, peraltro esemplare ottimo. SPEDIZIONE IN 24 ORE DALLA CONFERMA DELL'ORDINE.

L'opera contiene la "Breve relazione della prodigiosa, e miracolosa immagine della Madonna Santissima detta di Guadalupe nel Messico" dove viene ricostruita la storia della miracolosa apparizione avvenuta nel 1531 della Madonna di Guadalupe in Messico. Prima edizione di questo devozionalia che ebbe numerose riedizioni. "Nostra Signora di Guadalupe (in lingua spagnola: Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe), nota anche come la Vergine di Guadalupe (in lingua spagnola, Virgen de Guadalupe), è l'appellativo con cui la Chiesa Cattolica venera Maria in seguito ad un'apparizione avvenuta in Messico nel 1531. Secondo il racconto tradizionale, tra il 9 e il 12 dicembre 1531, sulla collina del Tepeyac a nord di Città del Messico (La Villa de Guadalupe), Maria apparve più volte a Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin, uno dei primi aztechi convertiti al cristianesimo. Il nome Guadalupe venne dettato da Maria stessa a Juan Diego.". Raro. Rif. Bibl.: IT\ICCU\UM1E\019025.

Prima rara edizione di questo triduo dedicato alla celebre cinquecentesca statua della Madonna del Parto realizzata da Jacopo Tatti, detto il Sansovino, conservata nella Basilica di Sant'Agostino in Campo Marzio. La statua ebbe una storia del tutto particolare e varie sono le leggende ad essa collegate. Raro.
