This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Aguttes in Paris at the Hotel Drouot on March 9, 2005. This sale consisted of the estate of Georges Manzana-Pissarro (1871-1961), the son of Camille Pissarro. 110 lots in this part of the sale. Manzana-Pissarro is best known today as an Orientalist painter, and most of the paintings and objects offered here are in this genre. The second part of the sale 'Collection de Monsieur V. ensemble de 33 oeuvres provenant de l'atelier de Pierre Grisot', contained 33 paintings by Pierre Grisot (1910-1995) a school of Paris type painter. The third section of the sale, 'Collection de Monsieur D. ensemble de 31 oeuvres provenant de l'atelier de Maurice Busset', had 31 paintings by another school of Paris painter Maurice Busset (1879-1936). The final section of the sale contained Orientalist and other modernist 19th century paintings. 298 lots in the sale. All illustrated in color.
