Prima ed unica edizione di questo importante trattato di agronomia scritta dal noto agronomo bresciano, Angelo Peroni. L'autore scrisse anche due noti trattati sul gelso e la bachicoltura. Il suo trattato sui grani tratta esaurientemente tute le fasi della coltivazione degli stessi, dalla scelta dei terreni, alla scelta delle sementi, dalle rotazioni agrarie ai periodi migliori di semina del grano, frumento, orzo, farro, segala, spelta, avena. Un intero capitolo è dedicato al granturco. Un capitolo è invece dedicato al riso e alle risaie e un altro al lino. Opera non comune, in brossura editoriale ed ancora in barbe.

Memoria stampata e tirata in varie edizioni su iniziativa del Governo o delle Camere di Commercio dipartimentali (esiste infatti un'edizione stampata a Mantova nel 1808 con lo stesso titolo, ma preceduta da una Circolare della Camera di Commercio del Mincio) che riprende sostanzialmente l'articolo pubblicato, sempre nel 1808, da Giovanni Morosi sul "Giornale della Societa' d'incoraggiamento delle scienze e delle arti stabilita in Milano". Morosi era stato incaricato di occuparsi della lavorazione del lino nel suo lungo viaggio nell'Europa centro-settentrionale durante il 1807-1807 e qui aveva potuto conoscere le tecniche utilizzate nelle Fiandre per poi riferirne al suo ritorno in Italia.
