Written to capitalise on the enormous success of 'The Face of London', Clunn's sequel was first published in 1936. This edition is thoroughly revised, updated and benefits from a large number of new illustrations.

Nice copy of the author's delightfully written and illustrated account of a pre-war walk through the Wealden countryside from Lewes to Clayton. Many of the buildings and scenes depicted are scarcely changed.
