The last of Rowse's works on his birthplace, published posthumously in celebration of the life of one of Cornwall's greatest men of letters. 'When Dr. Johnson was sleepless at night he occupied his mind composing Latin verses. Similarly when I can't get to sleep I take to making rhymes on Cornish place names.'

Volume numero 3 del corso di topografia. L'autore è professore ordinario di Topografia all'università di Roma. All'interno si trova la parte quinta con elementi di fotogrammetria e la parte sesta con elementi di cartografia. Copertina leggermente stanca ai margini, soprattutto agli angoli, lievemente brunita. Dorso brunito, probabilmente per l'esposizione al sole, stanco alle estremità. Pagine salde, su carta patinata, con ampio margine. Piccola nota a matita alla contro guardia superiore. Mancanze a pagina 467, 473 e 481. Numero pagine circa 210. USATO
