A standard county history, complete with list of subscribers. The folding county map in particular is often missing. The first edition is very elusive. It was reissued with an altered title two years later, and this version was subsequently reprinted at least twice. The abridged 'third' edition of 1843 was reprinted in facsimile in 1992. EXTREMELY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION. Astonishingly, not recorded by Anderson who lists only the second issue of 1831.
