Anderson records two versions of the Hastings Guide, but states no publishers. The likelier of the two, in 8vo rather than 12mo format, gives third edition as 1824 with subsequent issues from 1825 to 1830. Halkett & Laing and NUC assign authorship of earlier editions (eg. 1794) to James Stell. EXTREMELY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
