A bit heavy at 5 pounds as well as oversize and will require extra postage. Beniamino Benny Benvenuto Bufano 1890 - 1970 was an Italian-born sculptor based in California. This book contains photographs of Bufano's work including scultpure and drawings completed up through 1940 with some of the works photographed by Ansel Adams. The preliminary text contains facsimiles of letters to Bufano from Donna Santa Hercolani Borghese herself a well-regarded sculptor; M. Narkiss Director of the Museo Nazionale Bezalel of Jerusalem; playwright Henry Miller; and Roger Fry English painter and critic and member of the Bloomsbury Group. Borghese's letter is in Italian; Narkiss's in Hebrew and Miller's and Fry's letters in English.There are a few photos of Bufano included herein.
