The rare first book of verse by eminent mason and geologist Hugh Miller 1802-1856 which secured the notice of amongst others Leigh Hunt. The book was printed and published anonymously in Inverness by the owner of the Inverness Courant and includes the six stanza 'Greece - an Ode Written short after the surrender of the Acropolis'.
