1969184960South San Francisco: Man-Root 1969. Pamphlet. 66p. mimeographed text on construction paper self-wraps tinted marigold yellow; we came into several copies some saddle-stitched some simply nested with no stapling. These have no cardstock wrapper though the outermost leaf credits one Alan Blackman for "cover" presumably for cover artwork. A peculiar format possibly a cheap pre-publication trial balloon; this outermost leaf does double-duty as Table of Contents and gives mailing address volume number and price as well as Blackman's credit-line. FYI all later issues are printed on alkaline stock and have decorated cardstock cover-wrappers. This item like later numbers is 7x8.5 inches in size and is very well-preserved with faintest edgewear; a near-fine copy of the first edition or a pre-pub. Gay poetry journal. Man-Root unknown books
