In 1904 he led a reform movement which saw to the over-throw of corrupt machine politics in that city. He moved on to become founder, first President, and General Manager of the United Press Association. Rare Cheap Repository tract by Hannah More, aimed through the use of a moral tale at helping less educated and poor women run efficient, economical kitchens which could still provide nutritious food to their families. It was not until the publication of this new edition that the "Ingenious Foreigner", responsible for the 1770 and 1771 editions, revealed himself as "Mr. Borella, now head confectioner to the Spanish Ambassador in England." All three edition are rare with ESTC recording 7 copies of the first 1770 edition, 1 of the second edition of 1771, and 8 copies of this new and last edition.
