Duilio Cambellotti (Roma, 10 maggio 1876 – Roma, 31 gennaio 1960) è stato un artista italiano, di arti grafiche e di arti visive. Fausto Salvatori (Roma, 20 gennaio 1870 – Roma, 3 giugno 1929) è stato un poeta e librettista italiano. Gian Dàuli, pseudonimo di Giuseppe Ugo Virginio Quarto Nalato (Vicenza, 9 dicembre 1884 – Milano, 29 dicembre 1945), è stato uno scrittore, traduttore ed editore italiano. La sanguigna, che nella tradizione artistica definisce una particolare tecnica grafica, è uno strumento da disegno tra i più antichi. Essa è costituita da ematite, un minerale ferroso, ridotto in bastoncini e opportunamente appuntito, con il quale si possono tracciare sulla carta segni dal caratteristico colore rossastro che ricorda il sangue (da cui il nome di sanguigna).
