With lead actor Sal Mineo's name in manuscript ink on two revision leaves and his character's name in pencil on the front wrapper. <br /> <br /> Laid in is a small leaf with manuscript ink notations including the name of director Lou Foster actors Fess Parker and Jerome Courtland and characters White Bull and Captain Keogh. Parker was originally hired for the role of Keogh but refused second billing and was replaced by Philip Carey. With a number of contemporary advertisements. Illustrations throughout. Very good. The extremities are rubbed including the gilt stamped title on the backstrip and there are several light scratches on the front board. There is a 4" closed tear in the top edge of the original front wrap along with a handful of shorter closed tears in the edges a few of which have been backed with tape. The last couple of pages also have small closed tears in the edges. Else the pages are free of tears and marks. Flake 7510. A collection of accounts printed in the Salt Lake Tribune between Monday April 5 1897 - July 24 1847 relating the events that happened on the very same day fifty years earlier during the Mormon trek west in the year of 1847. With the development of more industrial methods and the introduction of the railways the price of salt collapsed. To help the impoverished population the house of Habsburg promoted tourism in that region and a number of guides to the area started to be issued.</p><p>The draughtsman was Hans Brunner a genre painter who was born in 1813 in Munich moved to Salzburg around 1840 where he painted portraits of the aristocracy and populated his genre paintings of everyday-life scenes with putti dwarfs and other mythical creatures. The fine lithographs were carried out by Peter Herwegen who was considered the successor to Neureuther.
