View shows a group of nicely dressed men in top hats standing on Salt Lake City's Main Street below Third South with a parade float that features antlers and a banner for the 'Elks Eleven O'Clock Toast.' The men are standing in front of Ackerman Printing and a tavern whose signs advertises Salt Lake Brewing's Lager Beer. The Walker Mercantile building is prominent in the background. We believe this image was taken during the Salt Lake City Elks convention in August of 1902.<br/><br/>"Yesterday the opening day of the National convention of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks was great. The weather was delightful not too warm and there were clouds enough to temper the rays of the sun.
