Savage 1832-1909 was a noted Mormon photographer who originally began shooting Mormon leaders in Council Bluffs IA before 1860 established his own studio named the Pioneer Art Gallery in 1866 and after it burned to the ground in 1883 established the Art Bazar Studio on the same site.
