These are very good softcover copies, 2 volumes, offered as a set. Both volumes completely clean inside and out. The English volume has a page with several creases in the lower corner. One volume has English text and the other volume has Japanese text only. The English text volume has translations of the essays by Michiaki Kawakita, Takeshi Umehara, Teiji Ito, and Yoshitomo Kajikawa. Illustrated with 1 small tipped-in color plate. The Japanese text volume has the same essays in Japanese and 48 black & white illustrations + 8 architectural plans and elevations of the Kahitsukan Museum. This museum, in Kyoto, is very much the creation of one man: Yoshitomo Kajikawa. He conceived of it, then set about designing and building it, and became its director. The building currently houses several cultural institutions. 13" high X 10" wide, 35 & 107 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.
