CTS Grafica e Zup Design hanno cercato una risposta a questa domanda, dando vita a Spollo Kitchen: un incredibile ricettario visivo, risultato di un processo di contaminazione tra grafica e cucina. L'iniziativa, realizzata in collaborazione con Polyedra e con il patrocinio di Aiap (associazione italiana design della comunicazione visiva) e Adci (Art Directors Club Italiano), ha avuto inizio in marzo 2013, quando progettisti italiani e internazionali sono stati invitati ad illustrare le loro ricette preferite in una call per i migliori manifesti culinari. Una giuria formata da 5 designer professionisti ha selezionato 100 progetti tra i partecipanti: il volume Spollo Kitchen contiene le loro ricette, spiegate e illustrate, da provare e guardare. Questa seconda edizione di Spollo Kitchen è qualcosa di più affascinante di un semplice libro di ricette illustrato. Si tratta di un vero progetto di design, che coinvolge fotografia, cucina, infografica, passioni e pensieri: un momento di riflessione sulle tendenze della grafica in Italia, soprattutto quando questa diventa espressione libera e divertita.
