silografia da tre matrici tirate in colore giallo e bruno di varie tonalità, mm 568x382 e margini. Grandiosa scena raffigurante Cristo e gli Apostoli nel tempio, derivata da un dipinto di Tiziano. La pala d'altare eseguita per la Chiesa di S.Spirito in Isola intorno al 1550 si trova ora a S. Maria della Salute. Legenda firmata, con dedica al nobile J.S. Makinzie, nell'alto della composizione. Il Jackson, innovatore nel 18° secolo dell'incisione a chiaroscuro, produsse a Venezia, sotto il patrocinio del Console Smith, una serie di 24 stupende silografie eseguite con la medesima tecnica del chiaroscuro da tre o quattro matrici che venne edita dal Pasquali nel 1745. Edición original magnífica impresión clara y nítida de esta famosa lámina grabada en chiaroscuro por el grabador inglés John Baptist Jackson 1701-1780 según diseño de Tiziano. Lámina central de 3 de la presentación de la Virgen en el Templo: una procesión de personas de izquierda a derecha con San Joaquín señalando hacia adelante y mirando a Santa Ana a su lado al pie de un tramo de escalones que conducen a un gran edificio con columnas corintias con una mujer contra los escalones a la derecha ofrendas de un ave muerta y otro animal a sus pies y personas mirando hacia abajo desde los balcones del palacio. En 1741 Jackson comenzó a trabajar una serie de 24 grandes láminas grabadas al claroscuro de noventa y seis tacos xilográficos representando 17 pinturas de grandes maestros pintores que fueron completadas en 1743 y publicadas en Venecia en 1745 con el título "Operta selectoria". La Presentación de la Virgen en el Templo está compuesta por un total de tres láminas siendo esta la lámina central. unknown
Xilografia originale (mm 395x257) ad opera di Andrea Andreani dal soggetto di Tiziano. Primo degli otto legni contrassegnati dalla lettera A-H, che deriva in controparte dalla versione di Lucantonio degli Uberti, che ricalca la celebre opera di Tiziano "Corteo processionale con il trionfo di Cristo". Andreani dedica il suo Trionfo a Jacopo Liguzzi, come indicato in basso a sinistra entro piccolo drappo : "Titian inven Andreas Andrianis fecitdicavit D. Iacobo ligotiae pic Mag Duc Etruria Roma". Rafigurazione della parte iniziale del corteo del trionfo della fede disegnato da Tiaziano. Un angelo guida il corteo a capo del quale si vedono: Adamo ed Eva, Noè portante una simbolica arca sovrastata da una colomba bianca. Inscripción "Cornelio Cort fe 1571" en la parte inferior izquierda y "Titianus Inven" en la parte inferior derecha. Al borde del margen inferior "Cum priv".
