2008339Like 2008. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. Language: English & Finnish. Arno Rafael Minkkinen's photographs are not so much self-portraits as portraits of man in nature. Because he aims at timelessness he works naked and often alone without using any manipulation in or after the shooting situation. His vision is based on his homeland Finland the country of birth from which he moved away as a child and which he rediscovered as an adult. It is the source from which his imagination constantly draws creative energy. The work presents the views of one of Finland's most prolific and impressive photographers. The book is a clear and fascinating description of Finland regardless of nationality. 168 pp. Only small wear. Like hardcover
