This is a very good softcover copy with almost no wear. Completely clean. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at Francis M. Naumann Fine Art, from April 12 to May 24, 2013. Introduction by Naumann. Also long interview between Naumann and Rafael Leonardo Black (1949- 2020). Black spent his life making art in his studio in Brooklyn, he just didn't try very hard to sell it. This show at Francis Naumann Fine Art was his first one man exhibition. He became one of the Covid pandemic's casualties in May of 2020. Black & white reproductions on almost every page of Black's complex drawings. Also keys to the imagery. 11" high X 8" wide, 50 pages. Text in Spanish. This is one of the earliest monographs on the work of the famous Spanish painter from Valencia, Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida. 116 black & white illustrations.
