Lot 656 "Important Queen Anne Carved Fiddle-Back Side Chair Philadelphia circa 1730" sold for $9000 and in January 2002 this same chair sold to a private collector at Christie's New York for $666000 believed to be an auction record for American Queen Anne side chairs. The similar chair Lot 655 sold for $38500 at Sotheby's in June 1990.
