The heavy leather covers have several scratches and old gouges as if from bookbinding tools. Spine and corners somewhat worn covers rubbed with slight loss of gilt. Contents Near Fine with the tissue-guards to the plates present save that the upper margins of pp 285-400 have an area not affecting the text of mild yellow stain. The gilt facsimile signature on the front board is presumably that of a former owner but we have not succeeded in deciphering the signature.
