Ex-library book with the usual stamps, stickers, etc. Book has been re-bound by the library into very heavy, strong white covers that are new. Dust jacket has some tears and chipping but in wrapped completely (again, by the library) in a protective cover. Text block is flawless with 158 pages of text plus plates, 400 illustrations, including 16 color plates. Contents include Lacquer in the 17th Century " " in the 18th Century, Lqcquer in England and the North American Colonies, Italian, German, French, Scandinavian, Russian and Lacquer of the Netherlands, the Lacquer Industry.
