"An adventure in cooking awaits you in the following pages for here are gathered the favourite recipes of good cooks from all parts of our Province. Some of them have come from the 'Old Lands' the British Isles and other parts of Europe some from the United States and other countries around the world some are treasures from the collections of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers and others from generation to generation before there were any written cookbooks memories of the gallant women of yesteryears.
