A pristine copy of the Playgirl Magazine Winter 2010 Issue signed by Phil Varone. Features the controversial "Sex Rehab" reality television show actor and former rock star on the cover and nude photographs in the inside pages. The Single Issue sold out shortly after publication and became a huge bestseller Playgirl Magazine's single most successful Issue since 2008. It is now rare. Presents "Playgirl Magazine: Phil Varone Nude!". In all his natural glory: The brilliant drummer music producer and songwriter best-known for his work with the bands Saigon Kick Skid Row Vince Neil and Prunella Scales. Playgirl Magazine ceased publication and became an online magazine only in late-2008. The Levi Johnston Winter 2010 Issue marked its very first "single issue" publication since it stopped printing its Monthly as well as Special Issues. It has since been followed by this second Winter 2010 Issue. There was no Spring Issue while the Levi Johnston and Phil Varone Issues are both Winter "bookends" indicating that the magazine will be published on a sporadic "opportunistic" basis. As such it consists almost entirely of full-frontal male nudes from cover to cover with minimal editorial content. Phillip Varone III starred in "Waking Up Dead" 2007 the award-winning and riveting documentary in which a film crew followed him around for several years to document the life of a rock star. He sported long hair then and bore a striking resemblance to the legendary Jim Morrison. So it's no wonder that he ended up sleeping with thousands of people. Varone spoke about his sex addiction on The Oprah Winfrey Show which introduced him to a whole new - and more mainstream - audience. It is not clear if his addiction is cured: He appeared as basically himself in "Californication" the hit cable series of yet another real-life sex addict David Duchovny. Also features the popular and now-iconic adult film star Seth Gamble in his first and only PG appearance. The photos from this shoot were reproduced in subsequent Playgirl Issues. An absolute "must-have" title for Phil Varone and Playgirl Magazine collectors. This copy of the Playgirl Magazine Winter 2010 Issue is very boldly and beautifully signed in black pen-marker on the Front Cover by Phil Varone. It is signed directly on the cover itself not on a tipped-in page. This Issue is now collectible. As far as we know this is the only such signed copy available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean crisp and bright. Please note: Phil Varone did NOT sign most copies of the magazine.
