Salomon Schweigger (1551-1622) hatte auf einer Orientreise eine italienische Übersetzung des Korans entdeckt, die wiederum auf einer Lateinischen Fassung basierte, und diese ins Deutsche übertragen.

The book is tight cropped and pages 47-49 have been supplied from a neat antiquarian handwritten substitution dating from perhaps the 18th Century - a lovely antique detail.
