This is a small format book 6" x 4.5" Bound in full morocco leather with gilt lettering to the spine. The spine ends and corners have rubbing and wear. The spine of the book has two scrapes and several spots of wear. The endpapers are a dark blue silk and both front and rear pastedown pages have gilt decorations around all edges and there is a gilt monogram on the front pastedown as well. The edges of the text block are all gilded A. E. G. The pages are all clean and bright and the pages all have illustrations on the outer and bottom edges.
