Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. xvi 309pp. The book itself is not signed but there is laid in a lovely typed letter signed by Mother M. Stella not the author. Additionally there are 2 holy cards for Mother laid in including one folding card. Exterior admits to medium wear in a few places including several tiny wear spots and tears to cloth. Hinges are cracked though text block remains square and all leaves are firmly in placed. Text clean. There are 3 paste-downs technically speaking 3 items are tipped in to front endpapers as well as a signature of a previous author. The paste-downs include a newspaper notice of Mother Stella's death what appears to be her return address which may have been clipped from an envelope as well as a lovely plate requesting prayers for the soul of Mother Mary Stella Kermann as well as notification of the date of her funeral; she died on August 13 1945.
