This was the first time that Lyman Beecher's personal autobiographical writings were ever published. Compiled by Reverend James C. White who originally met Reverend Beecher in 1825. Lyman Beecher and his first wife had nine children most of them noted American leaders. Harriet Beecher Stowe Henry Ward Beecher and Charles Beecher among others. This is a very rare and historically important piece of Americana. The book is in fair to good condition. Interior clean. Some pages unopened and uncut. Some small pieces missing from cover. Queste 100 stampe sono state tutte estratte dalle molte migliaia presenti nell'inventario della <strong>Howard Greenberg Gallery</strong>. Westerbeck è stato particolarmente attratto dall'ampio gusto di Greenberg per la fotografia americana ed europea del XX secolo.
