Bound in full dark brown leather with 4 faux raised bands to spine and bright gilt lettering and decorations to spine and covers. A previous owner's name in gilt to front cover Gottlieb Knaux too. All edges gilt. Lovely decorative endpapers. Exterior admits to some rubbing to leather and a little dryness though this isn't offensive. Minor spacing to front hinge. Back hinge admits to greater spacing with blank printer's blank detached. A number of pages admit to tiny tears and small chips as well as professional repair to extremities of a few pages and again professional repair near gutter of a small number of leaves. A number of minor dings to edges of pages. Paper admits to mostly medium foxing some interior soiling and mild spotting. Several leaves at end appear to have some minor moisture staining at extremities though this isn't terribly offensive. Unobtrusive and faint pencil and pen in an older hand to just a few leaves.
