Giovanni Carmelo Verga di Fontanabianca was an Italian realist writer best known for his depictions of life in his native Sicily especially the short story and later play Cavalleria Rusticana translated "Rustic Chivalry" and the novel I Malavoglia. Wiki. General overall wear and soiling on the cover. Leaves have lightly toned with very little foxing with predominant discoloration within the endpapers.
