Small dampstain in bottom right corner touching the image in five instances. Very good. A nice association this being the copy owned by Helen French Soule the great-niece of the author Helen A. French whose pen name was Ruth Chesterfield. Tipped in is a letter in which Helen Soule passes the book on to her relative Amos Tuck French whose bookplate is affixed to the front pastedown.
