Rebound in a pleasing modern cloth with spine title label. Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece and one plates. Collated complete. This catalogue describes the impressive range of tokens presented to the Corporation Library by Henry Benjamin Hanbury Beaufoy originating from London traders taverns and coffee-houses of the seventeenth century. Beaufoy was a wealthy British industrialist and philanthropist who established one of the largest brewers of vinegar in Britain and Ireland by 1810. Rebound in full cloth with spine title label. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear and marginal yellowing to the spine and parts of boards. Internally firmly bound with neat tape reinforcement to the recto of the first and last page. Pages are bright and generally clean with offsetting to the title page and scattered spotting to the first few pages only.
