In questo volume, conclusione di una trilogia dedicata alla città di Praga, il fotografo Francesco Jappelli propone un'interpretazione visiva dei legami esistenti tra brani del saggio-romanzo "Praga magica" di Angelo Maria Ripellino e importanti luoghi della città a essi collegati: molte pagine del grande slavista offrono infatti espliciti riferimenti topografici, qui esaltati dai suggestivi scatti in bianco e nero. Le immagini rimandano a una città che, negli ultimi decenni, ha perso solo una piccola parte del suo antico fascino: alcuni scorci sono inevitabilmente mutati rispetto ai ricordi di Ripellino, ma sono tutti ancora rintracciabili con le loro caratteristiche architettoniche pressoché integre. Scorrendo le pagine del volume si ha la sensazione di tornare indietro nel tempo, e percorrere come un viandante strade e piazze che sono state testimoni di secolari avvenimenti.
