This book was the first digest of the London's laws and guide to its courts after the revisions of the city laws from 1647 and 1658. A useful work that gathered a great deal of disparate information it is a valuable resource today for students of seventeenth-century London and its legal system. Probably written by a practitioner the annotations are corrections glosses and amplifications of points in the text along with marks and underlining.
