Inhalt der Hefte sind einzelne Filmproduktionen wie auch zahlreiche Texte (oft mit fotografischen Abbildungen) zur Nutzung des Filmmediums durch die SPD und zur ganz praktischen Filmarbeit in den SPD-Bezirken des Deutschen Reiches.

Dem Konvolut beigefügt sind acht Ausgaben des vierseitigen Blatts "Bildende Kunst. Mitteilungen des Schutzverbandes bildender Künstler" des gleichen Verlags, und zwar die Nummern 1, 2, 5-7 des 1. Jahrgangs 1947 und 1, 4, 8 des 2. Jahrgangs 1948. Diese sind ohne Abbildungen. Das Papier ist gegilbt, lichtrandig und teilweise an den Rändern etwas stockfleckig.
