The boards are a little bent by storage. The back board has a consequent length-long crease. The front board has storage marks and scoring. Despite these distractions the boards and spine are steady sure efficient. Within the contents are placid. There are shallow pools smears smudges of foxing throughout. Born in Wisconsin on January 1 1901 Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935 where he worked well into the 1950s.<br /> <br /> In a remote cottage Florence Rice eagerly awaits the arrival of her father Victory Jory and Norman Foster escapees from the French penal colony Devil's Island.
